House near Woodbridge
This project involved wide ranging alterations to an existing house with a fine view towards the river. The house had grown from a small building ancillary to a larger house, through a variety of different additions, to a point where further single and two storey additions, general updating, hard and soft landscaping, changes to vehicular access and services made it much more suitable for family use and entertaining visitors. The terrace overlooking the river was extended and rebuilt. The existing drive was extended so that it was no longer necessary to descend stairs to reach the front door. An existing conservatory was rebuilt as a proper garden room. A two-storey extension was raised and much of the interior was refitted and re-serviced.
