Leiston Abbey

A variety of works have been carried out to different buildings at Leiston Abbey.
The roof of the main barn exhibited a variety of problems so the decision was made to strip and re-thatch, allowing essential repairs to be undertaken to the frame. These were complex and undertaken with minimal change to existing fabric, retaining its character.

In the Lady Chapel, a further round of repairs replaced the modest East window of the 1920s with a large new window in sympathy with the remains of the tracery of the original opening.
