Bawdsey Estate

A variety of works have been undertaken to buildings on Bawdsey Estate.

 

The Dragon Tower on the corner of the Manor was suffering badly from degradation of stone dressings, metallic corrosion and the failure of rainwater goods. Works were undertaken with the assistance of Historic England to address these.

​

Elsewhere, the stables had lost much of their roofs and consent was obtained to convert them into a private house.

​

The Byre was in a similarly decrepit condition and again consent for Change of Use was obtained and designs prepared for conversion.
